Does Panther Valley count?

Dear Editor,

I read in the paper where Carbon County received a large amount of money.

It's going to feeding senior citizens.

My thing is I believe it's a good thing. However, why is it only Lehighton, Palmerton and Jim Thorpe that it is helping?

Are you trying to say Lansford, Nesquehoning and Summit Hill don't deserve help?

Just like everything else, it seems to me that Panther Valley gets the short end, even when it comes to getting business to move here.

You're supposed to be Carbon County commissioners and we're supposed to have people who look after our welfare. Are you trying to say Panther Valley doesn't count?
