Carbon County Fair Queen Jordan Behrens recently represented the county fair during the Pennsylvania Fair Queen State Competition in Hershey.

Alana Eisenhour of the York County Fair was crowned the state winner, but Jordan still enjoyed the competition.

"This experience was a once in a lifetime opportunity," said Jordan. "I was honored to be able to participate. I did my best to represent Carbon County and our fair and appreciate all the support I received from the fair board and the entire community."

Jordan will continue to fulfill her responsibilities as the Carbon County Fair Queen. One of those responsibilities is to promote agriculture and educate the public about Pennsylvania's number one industry.

She is available for speaking engagements or for civic functions, and would be happy to attend any meeting or speak to any organization, pending her availability.

Jordan may be reached through the Carbon County Fair's email at ccllfa@ptd.net to schedule an appearance.
