Fugitive taken into custody

One of two people Pocono Mountain Regional Police observed walking down a road along Tanglewood Drive in Tobyhanna Township at 1:40 a.m. June 26 was found to be a fugitive and was taken into custody without incident.

Police identified one of them as Edward A. Lance Jr., 26, of Pocono Summit.

Police said officers knew there was an active arrest warrant against Lance from the Monroe County Sheriff's Department, and transported him to the Monroe County Correctional Facility in Snydersville.
