Tobyhanna woman facing charges

Amy Young, 27, of Tobyhanna, is facing charges of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia as a result of a traffic stop made by Pocono Mountain Regional Police at 2:44 p.m. June 26 along Redwood Terrace in Pocono Pines.

Police said she was stopped for an altered inspection sticker on her vehicle, after which time police smelled an odor of marijuana. The department's K-9 located the drugs and paraphernalia.

Young also received an inspection violation citation.
