Brockton stop nets man wanted in Md.

A traffic stop made by state police at the Frackville barracks at 8 p.m. Saturday resulted in a finding that the driver is wanted by authorities in Harford County, Maryland.

Police said Matthew David Hansen, 31, of Shamokin, was stopped in the Village of Brockton, at which time police said he is wanted in the neighboring state for failure to appear at a traffic hearing.

Upon confirmation of extradition, Hansen was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge James Reiley of Pottsville and committed to the Schuylkill County Prison, Pottsville, in lieu of $10,000 bail.
