Packer Ridge employee faces theft charges
A Packer Ridge School employee admitted stealing a co-worker's money to support a drug addiction, according to Mahoning Township police.
Holly Guedes, 32, of Palmerton faces charges of theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property.
Just after 1 p.m. on June 12, an employee of the school, located along Route 209, reported Guedes had stolen $110 dollars from her.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Aug. 19.
