Pottsville woman charged with DUI

Lindsey Marie Moser, 19, of Pottsville, is facing charges of driving under the influence as a result of a traffic stop made by state police at the Frackville barracks at 1:58 a.m. May 24 on Route 209 in East Norwegian Township.

Police said they stopped her vehicle after observing the operator committing several traffic violations, after which time Moser was found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana and related paraphernalia.

Police said after it was determined she was under the influence, she submitted to a blood test, which confirmed the presence of marijuana in her system at the time.

Police said the case remains open pending final disposition of charges.
