Special occasion dilemma
Dear Editor,
Have you ever gone "serious shopping,"
When you're desperate for something to wear,
And you're worn out from all the "Mall Hopping"
Plus that "Trying on Stuff Wear & Tear?"
You just can't put it off any longer
For that special day draws very near
You can't shop in your full attic closet;
Those fashions have changed, so I hear.
Have you finally loaded an armful
Then head for the nearest change room
Where you're happy to make some selections
Which fend off that feeling of doom.
Yes most things looked great in the big store
But oh when you try them at home
What in the world could have happened?
They had no designer Rome?
Those fitting rooms must have been magic
And fatigue makes us see not too well.
They may just be filled with trick mirrors
I ask what do you think, pray tell?
