Woman from Effort is facing charges

Samantha Kilmer, 20, of Effort, is facing a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia as a result of a motor vehicle crash at 12:16 p.m. Monday in the parking lot of the Weis Markets, Route 209, Chestnuthill Township.

State police at the Fern Ridge barracks said upon responding to investigate the crash, they found drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle.

Kilmer was a passenger in the vehicle and admitted to police that the items seized belonged to her.
