Walnutport man facing charges

Published July 17. 2015 04:00PM

A Walnutport man was arrested on a warrant Wednesday and in the process another wanted person was found.

On Wednesday Lehigh Township police assisted the state constables at 4827 S. Cypress Road on a warrant service for Boston Leaswitch. The warrant was issued by Judge Robert Hawke, district court, Walnutport, for theft and conspiracy charges.

The warrant says Leaswitch stole a safe, a drill and baseball cards from a family member of a friend who lives on Blue Mountain Drive in Treichlers.

Upon taking Leaswitch into custody police identified another person at the house as Brandon Fitzpatrick, 19, of Lafayette St., Easton.

Police learned Fitzpatrick was wanted by Northampton County Sheriff's for an active bench warrant.

Fitzpatrick was arrested by township police, and his custody was transferred to Northampton authorities.
