Nesquehoning driver facing DUI

A Nesquehoning driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence of a controlled substance following an incident in Jim Thorpe.

Borough police said Francine McGovern, 66, of 118 W. High St., has also been charged with careless driving and notice of change of name or address after striking another vehicle.

The incident occurred about 1:46 p.m. on June 7 along Route 209 near the train station, police said.
