Palmerton woman facing charges

A Palmerton woman is facing charges after she attempted to submit a fraudulent urine sample.

Jim Thorpe police said Ashley Lynn Neff, 30, of 255 Harvard Ave., appeared at the Carbon County adult probation office at the courthouse on June 11 to submit a urine sample. She admitted she attempted to use her sister's urine that was in a prescription medication bottle.

Police charged her with furnishing drug free urine, a misdemeanor three.
