Man sought for home invasion

Pocono Mountain Regional police are looking for Darnell D. Singleton, 27, no known address, for a home invasion in Monroe County.

Police said on Monday Singleton went to the residence of a 93-year-old woman along Pleasant Ridge Road in Mountainhome and asked to borrow money. When the victim told him to leave, Singleton climbed into a window and stole several of her blank checks. He fled in a red vehicle. He is facing charges of burglary and theft.
