Woman is citedin Penn Forest crash

Catherine M. Coyne, 67, of Bethlehem, was cited after a one-vehicle crash at 11:37 a.m. July 8 on Route 903 in Penn Forest Township. She was not injured in the crash.

State police at the Fern Ridge barracks said she was driving a 2007 Toyota Matrix and was negotiating a left turn onto Route 903 southbound when she overcompensated the turn and the car struck a road sign on the center divider of the roadway.

The vehicle sustained disabling damages and needed to be towed from the scene.
