Police; Woman falsified registration

A Tamaqua woman faces charges of falsifying her vehicle's registration and careless driving.

Lea Palladino, 44, was stopped for careless driving on June 13 just before 2:30 a.m., according to Mahoning Township police.

Palladino's Ford truck had a registration plate that belonged on a Ford Mustang. The expiration sticker was fraudulent, making it appear valid until October 2015.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Aug. 26.
