Tamaqua man cited for conduct
Tamaqua police cited Eric Allen McCabe, 20, of 414 W. Broad St., Tamaqua, after a disturbance on July 20.
Officers were dispatched to a fight in progress in the 400 block of West Broad Street at 12:15 a.m.
They found the complainant still at the scene along with McCabe and a woman.
As the officers spoke with the complainant and the woman, McCabe became agitated and uncooperative.
When he refused to calm down he was handcuffed and placed in the back of a police cruiser.
The woman said she and McCabe had been arguing on the sidewalk but that it never turned physical and she was not injured in any way.
McCabe was cited for disorderly conduct.
