Lehighton woman cited in drug case
State police at Lehighton in January charged a Lehighton woman with drug offenses.
Angeliese Bieling, 29, of 400 Indian Hill Road, was charged on Jan. 3 with intent to possess a controlled substance by a person not registered; manufacture, delivery, or intent to manufacture or deliver; two counts of carrying a firearm without a license; use/possession of drug paraphernalia; driving under the influence of a controlled substance; driving an unregistered vehicle; disregarding traffic lanes; careless driving; and failing to use a safety belt.
She was jailed in the Carbon County Correctional Facility from Jan. 3 through Jan. 28 on $50,000 bail. That was reduced to unsecured bail on Jan. 28 and she was freed.
Bieling was also charged stemming from an incident on Jan. 4 with use/possession of drug paraphernalia and intent to possess a controlled substance by a person not registered.
She is free on $1,000 unsecured bail on those charges.
