Schuylkill man charged with theft

A Schuylkill County man has been charged with stealing funds from his employer in Lehigh County.

State police at Fogelsville identified the suspect as Nicholas Lee Doyle, 38, of Schuylkill Haven.

According to troopers on Friday at 4:06 p.m. they were called to Gamestop, located at 1042 Mill Creek Road in Lower Macungie Township, for an employee theft.

Through an investigation by the assistant protection officer of the company it was determined that the store manager, Doyle, had been making fraudulent transactions over the past several months. Doyle took over $3,000 from the store during that period, troopers said.

Charges of theft by deception and theft by unlawful taking were filed against Doyle.
