Schuylkill teen charged with theft

A Schuylkill County teen has been charged with retail theft.

State police at Frackville said Collin Ryan Steward, 18, of Shenandoah, was charged following an incident at the F.Y.E. store in the Schuylkill Mall, New Castle Township.

Troopers said on Wednesday at 12:20 p.m. Steward was observed taking magic trading cards and attempting to leave without paying for them. The cards are valued at $34.95.

Steward was stopped by store employees and detained until troopers arrived. Charges will be filed.
