Schuylkill driver flees crash scene

A Schuylkill County driver is facing charges after police said he fled the scene of a one-vehicle crash.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said Justin A. Klinger, 26, of Hegins, was driving a 2006 Jeep Commander westbound on Route 25 at 2:48 a.m. Sunday and approaching a left curve when the Jeep went onto the berm. It traveled along the berm and scraped a utility pole with the rear passenger side. It continued along the berm until it went into a ditch and overturned onto the passenger side.

Klinger then left the scene without reporting the crash, troopers said. The Jeep was towed from the scene. Charges are pending.
