Schuylkill man charged with DUI
A Schuylkill County man who was involved in a crash in Mahoning Township has been charged with two counts of DUI.
At 2:42 p.m. Feb. 14, Mahoning Township Police were dispatched to an accident at the Carbon Plaza Mall on Route 443.
Christopher Blevins, 47, of Tamaqua, rear-ended another vehicle. Four other people were involved in the crash, and there were no injuries.
Blevins has been charged with two counts of DUI, a misdemeanor; and careless driving, a summary offense.
A blood test showed the presence of alprazolam and oxycodone.
A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for July 29.
