Two cited for retail theft in Monroe

Two people were cited for retail theft over the past weekend in separate incidents. Both occurred at Kinsley's Shop Rite, located at 107 Kinsley Drive, in Brodheadsville, Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County.

State police at Fern Ridge said Ronald McKenna, 35, of Effort, was cited at 11:44 p.m. Friday. He stole 5-hour Energy drinks valued at $18.99. He was stopped upon leaving the store by store security.

Joan Susan Kloss, 46, of Albrightsville, was cited at 12:24 p.m. Sunday. Store security stopped her after the incident. Troopers did not indicate what was taken.
