Charges filed against Mahanoy City woman

Charges will be filed against a Schuylkill County woman for theft of leased property and receiving stolen property.

Schuylkill Haven State Police said that sometime between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Feb. 26, Stephanie J. Parliament of Mahanoy City signed a rental agreement for a Samsung S5 phone and an HTC Desire phone which she received. She never returned the items to the Rent-A-Center in the Pottsville Park Plaza, Pottsville, Norwegian Township, and stopped making payments.

Charges filed at District Court 21-3-01 regarding this matter.
