Two injured in Monroe crash

The two drivers involved in a crash at 9:38 p.m. April 30 along Route 715, in Jackson Township, Monroe County, were injured.

State police at Fern Ridge said Christopher A. Morgan, 31, of Tannersville, was driving a 2005 Ford Focus when he crossed the double yellow line and collided into a 2003 Saturn Ion operated by Thomasina Elam-Hooks, 55, of Stroudsburg.

Both drivers were taken to the Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg, by Central Pocono ambulance. Both vehicles had to be towed.

Troopers cited Morgan for careless driving.
