Domestic dispute ends with arrest

Published May 06. 2015 04:00PM

Tamaqua police responded to a domestic dispute on April 26 and executed a warrant for the arrest of one of the participants.

Officers were called to 267 Clay St. at 11:38 a.m. and were met by Rebecca Fannock, 22, her mother and a male. All three said there had been an argument about Fannock's proposed move to Delaware with her young daughter.

Fannock told police there was a warrant for her arrest and she was probably going to jail. Officers checked and found there was a warrant, issued by Rush Township police, in connection with a theft.

Fannock was arrested, then arraigned before on-call District Judge Christina Hale, of Frackville, who set bail at $5,000 unsecured. Rush Township police were notified and she was released into the custody of her mother.
