Tamaqua man faces drug-related charges

A Tamaqua man was picked up by Rush Township Police on April 26 on an outstanding warrant.

Jason Ensel, 30, was arrested at 11:55 p.m. April 26 following a traffic stop on Cumberland Avenue. He was a passenger in a vehicle that was stopped for traffic violations. The warrant was issued by officials in Carbon County.

As officers were taking Ensel into custody, they found a small amount of marijuana and two pipes.

Ensel was transported to the Carbon County Correctional Facility on the warrant and now faces drug-related charges in Rush Township.
