Jim Thorpe man charged with theft

A Jim Thorpe man has been charged with retail theft.

Nesquehoning Police Chief Sean Smith responded to Redner's Warehouse Market on May 1 for a theft incident.

As a result Smith charged Henry R. Johnson Jr., 48, of 15 Ottawa Drive, with retail theft. Smith charged that Johnson altered, transferred or removed a price tag and placed it on more expensive items.
