Alice Kane, Summit Hill tax collector, would like to remind residents that if you are paying your taxes by check, you need to have separate checks for county and borough taxes for proper processing.

At 7 p.m. today, St. John's Lutheran Church, 1 E. Abbott St., Lansford, will hold an informal worship: a spiritual, peaceful evening service with Holy Communion.

All are welcome to this relaxed, brief musical evening prayer.

For all who wish to participate, beginning at 6 p.m., bring a sandwich or snack and enjoy time together studying the Bible, God's word.
