Copper stolen from cell tower site
State police at Frackville are investigating the theft of copper wiring from a cellular phone tower site in Schuylkill County.
Troopers said the wiring was taken from a AT&T cell tower located off Zehner's Crossing Road in Walker Township. Taken was 15, five-foot sections of No. 6 ground wiring. The theft occurred sometime between Sept. 15, 2014, and May 4, troopers said.
