Two charged with stealing baby formula

State police at Fern Ridge reported on two incidents of retail theft in Monroe County one led to the arrest of two people while the second is still under investigation.

Police said Dennis James Paff, of Saylorsburg, and Brooker Kathleen Kophazy, of Easton, stole six containers of Similac advanced baby formula from Kinsley's ShopRite, located in Brodheadsville, Chestnuthill Township on April 12. The formula was valued at $161.94. Both were issued citations for retail theft.

Earlier that day, two suspects entered the Rite Aid pharmacy in Chestnuthill Township and stole a micro knife valued at $10 and fled the store.
