Monroe break-in, theft investigated

State police at Lehighton are investigating a burglary and theft incident in Monroe County.

The burglary occurred at a garage on a property in the 2900 block of Mountain Road in Ross Township. A garage at that location was entered by breaking the door handle and door lock. Snap On socket sets, Mack torque set, Angle grinder and a Milwaukee drill were removed. The incident occurred sometime between midnight and 6 a.m. Tuesday.

Troopers said an air conditioner unit was removed from a residence in the 100 block of Trach Road in Kresgeville. The theft occurred sometime between Jan. 19 and Monday.
