Vehicle stop leads to drug charges

A traffic stop along Interstate 80 in Carbon County has led to the arrest of two Philadelphia residents on drug charges.

State police at Fern Ridge said a vehicle stop was conducted at 9:54 p.m. on Monday on I-80 in East Side Borough. A probable cause search was performed on the vehicle and about 78 grams of raw heroin and three vials of codeine were found.

Arrested on drug charges were Jahreese Markeith Stickland, 18, and Akmed Basil Greene, 23.
