Democrats rally
The West End Democrats will hold a rally at 7 p.m. May 28 at the West End Fire Company on Route 715 in Brodheadsville.
Smart Driver course
A 4-hour Smart Driver course, as presented by an AARP volunteer, will be given at the Polk Firehouse in Kresgeville beginning at 9 a.m. June 8 for those who can provide proof that they took the 8-hour driver refresher course within the past 36 months.

Free camp
Pleasant Valley Assembly of God in Brodheadsville will offer a free sports camp from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. June 8 through June 11. Sports offered are: karate, basketball, football, cheerleading, soccer, for ages 5 to 12.
Crafts will be offered to those of preschool age.

West End Wings
The 37th annual Father's Day radio-controlled air show will be held from 12:30 to 4 p.m. June 21. The rain date is June 28.
Admission is free. It takes place at the West End Wings airfield off Effort Neola Road in Brodheadsville.
