Two arrested for Monroe burglary

Published May 22. 2015 04:30PM

Two New York state residents were arrested an hour after they burglarized a Monroe County home.

Pocono Mountain Regional police said the incident occurred on May 15 at 11 a.m. at 158 Stillwater Drive, in Pocono Summit.

Police said the county communications center received a 911 hang-up call from that address. Dispatchers called the number back and were able to talk to an excited female who said she had just been robbed by two men. Within minutes police arrived and found the homeowner had left the residence for about 30 minutes and upon returning discovered two men inside the home. The men then fled.

A search of the area by Pocono Regional officers and state police resulted in two suspects being located within the hour. The two were identified as Chang Len, 53, and Lei Chen, 28, both of Brooklyn.

The two were arrested and charged with burglary, criminal conspiracy and criminal trespass, all felonies. The two were arraigned before a district judge and both were committed to the county prison in Snydersville after failing to post bail.
