Schuylkill man charged

A Schuylkill County man has been charged with harassment following an incident that occurred at 4:50 p.m. May 22.

State police at Frackville said William Devaney, 50, of West Main Street, Girardville, became upset over noise coming from the home of a 14-year-old male, which he believed was caused by the teen.

Devaney went to the teen's home to confront him. While outside the victim's home an argument ensued during which Devaney threatened to assault the teen, troopers said.
