Carbon man facing gun charges

State police at Frackville have charged a Carbon County man who gave false information to buy a gun in Rush Township.

Jonathan Patrick Feisel, 46, of Lansford, was charged Tuesday with unsworn falsification/firearms act violation, a felony.

According to police, on Nov. 9, 2014 Feisel tried to buy a gun at 39 Plaza Drive and failed the background check. He had falsified several pieces of information about his background on the form required to buy the firearm.
