Coaldale man charged in drug case

One person has been charged with drug-related offenses after an incident in Coaldale on May 14.

Coaldale Police were assisting a state parole agent at the home of Daniel Schwertfeger, 23, 114 W. Phillips St. The agent conducted a search of the home and found a wooden pipe filled with a green, leafy substance. The pipe was turned over to Coaldale Police.

The substance inside field tested positive for marijuana.

Schwertfeger was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.
