Man cited at Tamaqua parade

A Tamaqua man wasn't able to watch all of Tamaqua's Memorial Day Parade on Monday.

Brian Keith Woods, 50, of 16 W. Broad St., was on the sidewalk in front of his apartment building at 10:29 a.m., watching the parade go by. By his side, he had a case of Natural Ice beer. He was also drinking from an open can and annoying the parade watchers around him.

Police were contacted and arrested him. He was transported to the police station and cited for public drunkenness.
