Woman cited after domestic incident

A Tamaqua woman was cited after a domestic incident in the borough on May 24.

Tamaqua police were dispatched to 407 Willing St. at 2:17 p.m. for a disturbance.

An officer spoke with three people who all claimed the argument was only verbal.

They were given verbal warnings.

Two hours later police were called back to the same apartment.

This time a physical confrontation had taken place between Kayla Hoover and Stephanie Potts, both 24. Hoover reportedly pushed Potts, causing her head to slam against a wall.

Hoover was cited for causing a domestic disturbance.
