No one was injured in a rear-end collision at 5:02 p.m. Oct. 17 on Route 209 in Chestnuthill Township, according to state police at the Fern Ridge barracks.

Police said a 1996 Honda Civic driven by Logon S. Jacobson, 17, of Effort, traveling north on Route 209, failed to stop and struck the rear of another northbound vehicle, a 2013 Subaru Crosstrek, operated by Timothy Fisher, 44, of Kunkletown. The latter was stopped in traffic, waiting for another vehicle to make a left turn off Route 209 when it was struck from behind.

Police said the Civic sustained damages to its front passenger corner while the rear end of the Crosstrek was damaged, requiring it to be towed from the scene.
