No injuries reported in Schuylkill crash

A Schuylkill County driver escaped injury in a one-vehicle crash that occurred around 6 p.m. Wednesday along Route 61 in North Manheim Township.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said John D. Breslin, 51, of Schuylkill Haven, was driving a 2002 Ford F250 truck southbound in the right lane. As he attempted to negotiate a left curve he lost control of the truck and struck the concrete median off the left travel lane with the front driver's side.

The truck then spun clockwise and traveled about 80 feet across both lanes, hitting guardrail off the right lane with the driver's side rear, where it came to rest. The truck had to be towed from the scene.

Troopers cited Breslin for the crash.
