Electronics taken in Carbon break-in

State police at Fern Ridge are investigating a burglary at a Monroe County residence.

Troopers said a home along Hickory Lane, Gilbert, in Chestnuthill Township was entered through a open window.

A plastic bin containing electronic equipment such as scanners, radios, tape recorders and old cellphones was taken.

An unlocked shed to the rear of the property was also entered and removed was various tools such as a skill saw and hand saw.

The entry occurred sometime between Sept. 1 and 30.
