Minor injury in Jim Thorpe crash
A Lehighton driver sustained a minor injury when his pickup crashed in Jim Thorpe on Wednesday morning.
Borough police said Tad George Snyder, 19, of 65 Pine St., was driving a 1987 Chevrolet S10 southbound on Route 209 about 6:15 a.m. when the vehicle crossed into the northbound lane and struck the side of a mountain. The crash occurred near the Jim Thorpe/Nesquehoning line.
Police said Snyder sustained a minor laceration to the head.
