Woman cited for dog law violation
Michelle Marie Rex, 40, of 6 Cherry St., Tamaqua, has been cited for allowing her dog to run loose.
Tamaqua police were contacted about the dog at 11:32 a.m. on Oct. 23. The caller said the animal was always running loose, menacing the neighborhood.
A volunteer with the Tamaqua Area Animal Rescue group declined to get involved, saying the animal was considered to be dangerous.
Officers then contacted the Pennsylvania State Dog Warden and issued a citation to Rex.
