Slatington police log

• On Nov. 10, Marcia Messinger, 48, of New Ringgold was charged with theft by unlawful taking and access device fraud on Main Street at 2:50 p.m., by patrolman William Borst.

• Calvin Robinson, 36, of Slatington was charged with public drunkenness on Walnut Street at 6 p.m. Nov. 10.

• On Nov. 12, Donald Kibler, 70, of Slatington was charged with public drunkenness and scattering rubbish on Main Street at 12:54 a.m. According to arresting officer Sgt. Kenneth Dorward, Kibler was observed staggering in the area of the 400 block of Main Street. Kibler was also observed throwing garbage off the General Morgan Bridge. When stopped, the defendant smelled of alcohol and could barely stand up.
