Liquor is stolen in Parryville burglary

A burglary that happened between 4 p.m. Nov. 7 and 5 p.m. Nov. 15 at a residence in Parryville is under investigation by state police at the Lehighton barracks.

Police said the victims are two woman, ages 64 and 66, who live in the 100 block of North Harrity Road.

Police said criminals gained entry to the residence by removing a pane of glass from the rear door. They entered the home and removed numerous bottles of liquor.

Police said the criminals placed the bottles outside the residence and covered them with dirt and leaves before fleeing the scene undetected.
