Wanted person found at motel

Pocono Mountain Regional police said a person wanted on active warrants in two counties was located at a Monroe County motel.

Police said they received a report that Justin Franks, 28, no known address, was at the Mount Pocono Motel and that there were warrants for his arrest. Police checked and learned Franks had a warrant for his arrest issued out of Northampton County for a retail theft charge and a domestic relations warrant issued in Monroe County.

Officers went to the motel about 5 p.m. on Sunday and found Franks hiding in a bathroom in one of the rooms. He was taken into custody and placed in the county prison in Snydersville on the warrants.
