The engagement of Lauren Kattner, of Lehighton, and Christopher Hager of Summit Hill, has been announced by her parents, Vincent and Louise Kattner Jr. of Lehighton.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia where she obtained a doctor of pharmacy degree. She is currently employed as a clinical pharmacist at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children in Philadelphia.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of James and Lottie Hager of Summit Hill. He is a graduate of Wilkes University where he obtained his bachelor of arts degree. He is employed as a pharmacy technician at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children as well.
A wedding date is set for Oct. 10.
