Tamaqua man jailed on drug charges

Tamaqua police picked up April Ann Reznick, 32, of Tamaqua on an outstanding warrant for robbery on Sept. 23.

At the time of her arrest Reznick was cited for additional charges after officers searched her and a backpack she was carrying. The backpack contained a razor blade, orange capped syringes, small rubber bands, half straws with residue, small baggies with residue, a spoon and cotton swabs. There was also a small orange paper, suspected to be the drug suboxone, wrapped in notebook paper.

She was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia and arraigned before duty District Judge Christina Hale of Frackville. Bail was set at $5,000 straight.

Reznick was lodged in the Schuylkill County prison in Pottsville.
