Melissa DeFrain of Slatington and Scott Levendusky of Palmerton, were united in marriage July 11, 2015, at Slatington Baptist Church in Slatington. The double ring ceremony was officiated by the Rev. James LeVan and Pastor Henry Distler. The organist was Anna Mary Milot. Lauren Cortwright was the vocalist.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. David DeFrain of Slatington.
She was attended by co-maids of honor, Amy Ellis and Theresa Vogel. Emma Fritz was the flower girl. Madelyn Green was the ring bearer.
The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Levendusky of Palmerton.
Best man honors were jointly performed by Jon DeFrain and Rodney Strohl.
The newlyweds received family and friends at Blue Shamrock Golf Club in Palmerton. They honeymooned on a cruise to Bermuda.
The new Mrs. Levendusky is a graduate of Northern Lehigh High School. She graduated with a bachelor's degree from Muhlenberg College. She earned her master's degree from Cedar Crest College.
She is employed by the Northern Lehigh School District since 2007.
Mr. Levendusky is a graduate of Palmerton Area High School. He is employed by the Blue Shamrock Golf Club.
The newlyweds live in Palmerton.
